Description

These data sets have been generated based on the analytic models [1,2] to estimate signal to the noise ratio (SNR) for spans, links, and lightpaths of a Flexible Optical Network (FON) over standard single-mode fiber (SSMF). For PM-BPSK and PM-QPSK modulation format levels, equation 41-43 [1], and for PM-8-64QAM modulation format levels, equation 7.32 [2], are applied.
