Descripción
| This is a dataset of experimental replicas and archaeological bifaces from the Lower and Middle Paleolithic of the Iberian Peninsula.
The dataset will be in.WRL 3D format, with a high enough resolution. It provides relevant information for a 3D morphometric analysis and focuses on identifying skill technological levels.
Models have been scanned by using 3D scanners Artec Spider, Netengine and Artec Micro II, and processed using different 3D modeling software.
This compilation will include two different files: experimental and archaeological files.
- The experimental will be classified by skill technologies and will differentiate novices, apprentices, high-skill apprentices and finally, experts. The archaeological will be divided on the basis of the archaeological site and the stratigraphic level.
