This dataset contains the MATLAB code used for the quantitative light optical microscopy analysis developed in Pilar Fernandez-Pison et al. (2021). Additional files corresponding to micrographs used in the analysis are included. The provided micrographs correspond to a specimen AISI 304L tested at T=4 K to a maximum strain level of 16% (see Fernandez-Pison et al. (2021).

| ** Procedure:
1st: The MATLAB code 'Martensite_Quantification_ANALYSIS.m' should be saved together with the micrographs to be analysed (for example the five .tif files included in the dataset) in a clean folder. No additional files with the same extension as the micrographs should be contained in the folder. The default extension is .tif, in case of a different file type please change it in line 32 of the code.
2nd: Run the MATLAB code 'Martensite_Quantification_ANALYSIS.m'. The results will be automatically available by means of figures and comments in the command window. Please check the code which contains information about each analysis step as comments (in case of interest).
PLEASE CITE THE FOLLOWING PAPER ANYTIME YOU USE THE CODE:
