El proyecto "Extracción terminológica automática y corpora de dominios específicos para la visibilización de los problemas de salud relacionados con la mujer" (DIGITENDER) (TED2021-130040B-C22 y TED2021-130040B-C21) es un proyecto coordinado en el que participan el Laboratorio de Lingüística Informática de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y el IULMA de la Universidad de Alicante. Está financiado en la Convocatoria 2021 de «Proyectos orientados a la transición ecológica y a la transición digital», en el marco del Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2021-2023, del Programa Estatal para Impulsar la Investigación Científico-Técnica y su Transferencia. El principal objetivo de DIGITENDER es hacer accesibles (para humanos y máquinas) recursos lingüísticos que resulten del proyecto (terminologías multilingües, corpus, conjuntos de datos).

Un aspecto muy importante del proyecto es la inclusión de información sensible al género creando publicaciones lingüísticas y nuevos recursos terminológicos en el dominio de la salud enfocado a cuestiones de las mujeres, habitualmente invisibilizadas, por ejemplo, la menopausia, la menstruación, la endometriosis, etc.
